I made it to the recipe, but rather than over rice I fabricated it as an appetizer and served it on lettuce leaves equally a wrap. Our guests loved information technology. I would make it over again and serve it the same way.
10/26/2018
I wrapped mine in flour tortillas and added shredded cabbage and made "tacos". It was and so proficient, and I garnished it with the red garlic chili sauce that I get at the Asian supermarket. I even forgot the rice, but it didn't fifty-fifty matter. Quick, easy, and succulent!

Your busy weeknight needs this dish. Fifty-fifty your lazy Saturdays will be happy with it. My family unit devoured this. It'south so simple to make and it is super delicious and total of flavor. Leftovers warm hands, which is great when yous've got teenage midnight grazers. The first time I made it, I served it over rice. Second time with rice noodles. The next fourth dimension I make information technology I'll accept the advice of the other reviewer and serve as tacos with cabbage. Thanks for the crawly recipe.
01/15/2019
Great, quick recipe that the whole family loved. I would probably cut some of the brown sugar next fourth dimension and DEFINITELY use low salt soy sauce. I didn't accept enough so I used some regular and it was pretty salty. Next fourth dimension I'm going to try with kokosnoot aminos. I also added some shredded carrots at the cease to increase veggie content. Served with steamed rice. This one will get into our rotation!

Since recently coming back from Asia, I've been craving Bibimbap, so once I saw this beef recipe, I knew I must make information technology. I used this beefiness mixture in place of the meat in the 'Bibimbap (Korean Rice With Mixed Vegetables)' on this site. This beefiness mixture was and then good and full of season. So, when combined with the Bibimbap recipe, a delicious beef and vegetable repast was created. This was so delicious that my husband bragged nigh it for days. Thanks for such a nifty recipe!
01/19/2019

06/27/2019
I was looking for something different to do with basis beef and was good. Read the other reviews and decided to give this recipe a attempt and information technology was wonderful. The comments that said information technology was to salty when using regular soy sauce and information technology being to salty, i decided to cutting the soy sauce in half and mix with h2o. The flavor of this dish was great
01/23/2020
it was very good
12/11/2018

This is a very good recipe, Dainty and flavourful. And piece of cake to make. I fabricated this into lettuce wraps. Home grown lettuce with a layer of rice and topped with the ground beef mixture. A sprinkle of sesame seeds and some light-green onions. Turned out not bad.
02/02/2019

05/thirty/2019
My family gave this six thumbs up. Very delicious, though I didn't use depression sodium Soy sauce (don't have it) and it was fine. Scooped it over some jasmine rice and oh my my, it went off the plates very speedily! You lot might want to tone downwards the spice a bit though if yous have family members that don't similar it.
12/16/2018
Tad salty but nevertheless very skillful. I didn't have low sodium soy used regular. Maybe next time I will use low sodium and see if that helps with the salty ness. Definitely easy and will make again

10/08/2018
It'south so practiced
02/25/2019
I have to admit that I eyeballed the quantities when making this for i portion, probably using less soy than a strict division by 4 would have resulted in. I also cooked the rice along with the beefiness one time the beef had been browned and seasoned, instead of serving the beefiness over plain steamed rice. Even with less soy, and reduced-sodium soy at that, plus the added water for the rice, the dish turned out a bit salty for my gustatory modality and the other flavors were a bit overpowered (except the sesame). I'm going to try it once again, though, with a bit less soy, considering the concept was skilful and I enjoyed the repast in spite of the saltiness. I may also throw in some vegetables, maybe zucchini or yellow squash coins , a handful or two of spinach or infant greens, or whatever comes to paw. On the whole then, I'd say this is a brand-once again with pocket-sized variations.
10/19/2018
Piece of cake to make and came out actually adept. I added sliced cherry-red peppers in the end. I would make this again.
11/03/2018
I followed the recipe and it was super easy to make. Tasty but a little flake salty for our gustatory modality and then I may adjust the soy sauce adjacent time. Will make them again.
01/07/2019
Like shooting fish in a barrel and tasty. I was a chip afraid of the garlic (married man not a huge fan) and then I 1/ii information technology but side by side time I will add the total corporeality.
12/15/2018
Really adept! quick and like shooting fish in a barrel. didn't add together all the soy sauce or brown sugar.
10/11/2018
Keen recipe! So quick and like shooting fish in a barrel...succulent!! Perfect week dark dinner
09/14/2019
Excellent! Definitely decrease the corporeality of soy sauce... was style too salty as it is written. I as well added a can of diced water chestnuts for texture!
06/01/2020
I used full table salt soy sauce considering that'due south what I had and I still think information technology came out great! Next fourth dimension I'll endeavor the low sodium. My SUPER picky kids ate it!!! 4 kids aged 14-7! And they raved nigh how they'd like this in their school lunches adjacent year if they're back in school. Bang-up flavour. Quick and easy.
05/22/2020
Splendid recipe! Very easy to make and delicious!
02/06/2019
This turned out great! Even my picky kids loved information technology!! They asked for this to be added to our weekly rotation. Nosotros like spice, so I added a little chili paste for actress flavor and heat.
04/09/2020

05/11/2020
I didn't measure anything, just added to sense of taste. Added a lot of regular Onions and Minced Garlic, and instead of flakes I used Chili Paste. Too added my Home Fabricated Pickled Ginger (4 tblsp-ish) Information technology was absolutely Delicious! I will be adding this dish, and variations to my regular cycles.
05/27/2020
Super like shooting fish in a barrel and delicious. I served it over steamed rice but only needed one-half the corporeality of rice that was suggested. Such a wonderful flavor. This recipe will be repeated oft.
04/09/2019
easy and a crown pleaser. I make about twice as much sauce, and sometimes add veg, specially mushroom or peppers and celery.
05/30/2020
Great! Used with rice and later with Iceberg lettuce cups. Very popular!
10/02/2019
This is addictive. I only added half the sugar and I did really substitute worcestire sauce for soy according to allrecipes substitution nautical chart. I'm sure it would be better with soy. But this was such a fabled base and new addition to my recipe rotation I had to give five stars. I roasted broccoli and green beans and any veggie would do. The green onions were a must. Next fourth dimension I will try peppers and cashews.
11/16/2019
I enjoyed this. I didn't follow the recipe very precisely as some family unit members are allergic to some of the ingredients, and I threw in vegetables that weren't office of the recipe. All the same, information technology turned out well and I will make information technology again.
01/twenty/2019
unfortunately my ginger root went bad so I used two teaspoons of powdered ginger and it was ok but I think fresh would be ameliorate. It was good and I will arrive over again.
10/14/2019
Delicious and unproblematic!
05/08/2020
Uncomplicated and tasty. I spiced it upward a chip and added some blistered snap peas and broccoli. Keen, fast, like shooting fish in a barrel dinner.
10/13/2019
Easy and awesome
03/24/2019
The Korean Beefiness was quick and very flavorful. We added cabbage and served with edamame. We will definitely try this recipe again.
05/13/2020
I followed the recipe except that I was out of fresh ginger root (this is during the Covid-nineteen shelter at habitation) so there was not that zing. I added about 1 loving cup of shredded green cabbage and 1/2 cup (one medium) carrot to the meat mixture with the garlic. I served it with the scallion and sesame seed garnish over steamed long grain rice (what I had on hand). It was tasty and I was surprised that it cooked about as rapidly every bit the times stated in the recipe. Most online recipes underestimate the prep and cook times just this was pretty much on the mark. Thanks for sharing this as something a little different to do with footing beef.
03/29/2019
Delicious and easy recipe the whole family enjoyed! I made it with low sodium soya sauce and decreased the sugar slightly - perfection! We ate information technology over rice with slivered carrots and cabbage over top. I would definitely brand it over again!
04/22/2020
This was a quick, piece of cake, succulent recipe that I will definitely be making once more. Next time that I make it, I will reduce the corporeality of soy sauce and chocolate-brown saccharide a picayune.
04/24/2019
I've made the recipe twice. The first time with dark-brown rice. My husband liked it but said he prefers white rice. The 2nd time I made it I cooked white rice and it went over well. Excellent recipe.
02/28/2020
Because I used ground turkey, I added 1T worchester sauce while cooking the meat. I reduced the sugar to one/4 cup and omitted the light-green onions as I didn't have any on hand. Delicious!
04/10/2020
Succulent! My 10 year quondam said this stuff is amazing mom!
05/xi/2020
used ground turkey instead of beef. threw in some radishes and bell pepper that needed to be used upwards. the sauce is amazing. Recipe is quick, unproblematic, succulent!
04/23/2019
Actually skillful balance between sweet and spicy.
06/03/2020
Volition make over again for family unit.
06/02/2020
This beef dish was easy to melt and everyone liked it. I added tofu and shredded carrots to the recipe and served it over rice.
05/07/2020
This was bully and like shooting fish in a barrel. I would reduce the sugar side by side time.
07/08/2019
I added some crushed red pepper because we dear hot and it was great! Simple and satisfying.
05/29/2020
Delicious!! and super easy. We had to terminate ourselves from licking out the bowls! My husband is a picky eater and he asked me to make it again a week afterwards we had information technology. If yous like spicy, ad more crushed crimson pepper or a nuance of sriracha sauce.
04/10/2020
Very good! We added a sunny side up egg to information technology!
05/07/2020
Delicious with rice or as the filling for lettuce wraps! I was out of dark-green onions so added almost half of a chopped sugariness onion to the ground beef and cooked them together. Wonderful season!!
02/02/2019
Dry and too sugariness. I was very disappointed
05/11/2020
I fabricated this with ground turkey and cutting upwardly cerise pepper, green pepper and onion and cooked them into the mixture. The flavors were amazing. My husband loved it and says information technology'due south a do over for sure!
05/14/2020
We profoundly enjoyed it. I as well threw in some mushrooms.
09/xviii/2019
Oh, bd., yous did it over again! Yummo, my friend! I made this for tiffin as our DIL, Heather, was coming over for a visit. Perfection in flavors! I did double the sauce a/c I added julienned snow peas, shredded carrots, and Bella mushrooms. Topped with scallions and toasted sesame seeds. Served over jasmine rice and ate to our hearts content! Thank you, Brian! You're the BEST!
02/02/2019
Absolutely delicious, the family loved it, will definitely make this again!
04/09/2020
I brand this oft. Sometimes with a pound of flank steak sometimes instead of ground beef. My hubby loves it both ways
02/20/2019
No changes fabricated. Except I didn't have greenish onions. Merely my family all institute it to exist likewise strong. I recollect if I cut all the seasonings in half it would be better. Just we had it with rice and lettuce to wrap information technology in. That helped a bit. If I make it again, I will cut the seasonings in half and we love really flavourful nutrient. Only it was a bit overwhelming. I did get more used to it as I ate it but definitely had to be mixed with other things to make it palatable. It was quick and easy to make.
04/07/2019
I prepared the meat without rice and made lettuce wraps. 10/10 would make again!
07/14/2020
Dearest this recipe! Served it with rice and fresh leaf lettuce: delish! It also works well with ground turkey.
02/09/2020
I did this 1 without ginger and I loved information technology! did it 3 time already. I have tried information technology with footing chuck and ground tenderloin and then far and its been fantastic both times. one of my favourite recipes to make. Super like shooting fish in a barrel and very quick to prep
05/21/2020
And then so sooooo good!!! And incredibly easy too!!! My family was so impressed by my sudden ability to make authentic tasting Asian food, ha ha! Eating low carb? Try this with chopped cabbage - it was so skilful with both cabbage or rice!!
05/13/2020
I made information technology exactly similar the recipe , and it was easy and succulent. Then I read the reviews and got and then many ideas near how to change information technology up. We will probably have this as is or with new tweaks every week for a long time. Perfect recipe!
07/15/2020
Super piece of cake and quick. Loved that I could whip this up with what I already had at dwelling house. Would probably likewise work with some thinly sliced beef. Was too salty for my gustatory modality and I was glad I served it family style then I didn't accept a huge serving of it on top of my rice. I would effort making this once again and cut back on the soy sauce.
03/29/2019
03/28/nineteen: Made the starting time time per recipe instructions. Pleasantly surprised I managed to become a nice Asian blend, given my cautious adjustments on the amount of ginger and soy sauce ( for increasing serving size, from 4 to 6 people ). I was also cautious with the ground red pepper amount--and got just the right light kiss of heat. Definitely will make again and experiment with some Asian ingredient additions.
08/11/2020
This was excellent and easy! I made it every bit written except for the soy sauce, which was regular as I didn't have the low sodium diversity. Information technology was still very skillful, just I'll endeavour to notice low sodium to make it with adjacent time. I followed the suggestion of ane of the reviewers and made it to go with the Korean rice with mixed vegetables, and it was delicious. My partner commented that he really enjoyed it likewise.
05/09/2020
Was and then easy to put together and delicious! My Covid19 version: ground ginger in place of fresh; a lot of chives in lieu of green onions; regular soy sauce in place of low sodium. All worked well, only next fourth dimension if I had to use regular soy sauce I would dilute it with h2o. Everyone loved it. No leftovers!!
05/03/2020
Adjust one-half thinly sliced sirloin and footing beef. Use whatsoever cabbage and omit the sesame oil.
05/28/2019
I cannot say enough about this recipe! We loved it! The beef had the flavors you would observe in a bulgogi, but, it was super fast to put together and perfect for a weeknight meal. I used jasmine rice instead of brown rice because that is what I had in the pantry. Thanks for the fabled recipe!
08/01/2019
This is basically bulgogi ground beef fashion, definitely extremely expert, put a fried egg and some steamed veggies on top to take it to the next level. I was worried about using full forcefulness soy sauce, I never need to apply low sodium so didn't want to go out of my fashion to buy some, it was a little stiff I would probably employ 1/four cup normal soy sauce or 1/four soy ane/4 water but it was yet tolerable every bit is, peculiarly mixed with rice, veggies, and the fried egg. I also didn't have fresh ginger (subbed 1/four tsp dried ground) or the light-green onions so they were omitted. Will accept to try making information technology to recipe after. Definitely a keeper, nice change from the usual Italian and Mexican footing beef dishes that we by and large accept with footing beef!
06/24/2020
Soo tasty! I make this often. The sauce is perfect, and bc of that I add in vegetables to soak upward the sauce, also (bok Choy or any I accept on hand). I also brand a spicy mayo to drizzle on acme and serve with radishes if I have on hand.
05/12/2020
Keen recipe! I made some modifications and I think it came out neat anyway. Instead of ground beef, I used lean basis turkey (7% fat). Because information technology was so lean I chose not to drain the fat after, which I think was the right conclusion. I also used a lot more than 1/4 tsp of crushed crimson peppers; I sprinkled some in by eye and I'thou pretty sure how much I added was more than the recipe called for. A bit spicy just I think the turkey needed it. The light-green onions at the stop were as lovely addition and I recommend adding as much as the recipe calls for (I added less because I'm non a huge fan of them in general). I took the communication and served it over dark-brown rice. I think this was easy and used a lot of stuff I already had, then v stars like shooting fish in a barrel!
06/01/2020
I made the recipe as written except I used coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Served it as directed with the rice but information technology seemed like it was missing something. Topped information technology with sweet chili sauce and that was the finishing touch it needed. I will arrive again!
01/28/2022
I chopped and sautéed 1/two an onion, stalk of celery and a smallish carrot at the beginning so added the meat and everything else… And I used a picayune scrap more ginger and then information technology said… And at the stop I throw in a can of green beans or fresh light-green beans that have been parboiled, just to get some vegetable / cobweb in there.
04/10/2019
This is a corking recipe. Very flavorful! I doubled everything and added chopped broccoli, carrots, celery and mushrooms. I also had some cabbage in the fridge so I shredded it and cooked it for a few minutes in some of the sauce that I spooned off the meridian. I layered jasmine rice, cabbage then the beef. Very pretty dish and and so tasty! What a great alternative way to utilize ground beef.
03/16/2022
Loved the basic recipe just changed to ground turkey, and riced cauliflower instead of rice. Delicious! I'm gonna try in a taco too next time!
03/twenty/2022
This was a striking! Really like shooting fish in a barrel meal. I thought it was a little scrap sweet, merely the residuum of the family loved it! I fabricated sure to really pause up the beef and I added diced carrots subsequently browning. Next time I will cutting downward on the saccharide and perhaps use for lettuce wraps…yum! Overall 9.five/10.
06/26/2021
I cut the soy sauce ( using Tamari) to 1/4c. Used coconut sugar as substitute. Didn't take ginger but had some ginger preserves which took care of some of the sugar content. Added chopped asparagus and peppers for nutrition and color. This is crawly and my dear gave it 2 thumbs upwardly!!!!!
12/xiii/2021
Delicious, fabricated as written.
02/03/2021
This was a large hit with my husband and kids (and me). I served it with another recipe from this site; Spicy Bok Choy in Garlic Sauce.
06/22/2021
Delicious. I ran out of chocolate-brown sugar then I subbed half of the soy sauce with hoisin sauce. Still turned out neat.
09/26/2021
Easy and very yummy.....added some of my own vegetable ingredients at the end....Recommend this dish!!!
09/02/2021
Excellent! I fabricated it without changes and it was a success in my family.
09/14/2021
Fast and like shooting fish in a barrel! I had some pineapple that needed to exist used last time I made this so I threw it in and it was amazing!
03/09/2021
Very good, perhaps a little sweetness. I threw in a scattering of mixed vegetables and some mushrooms and served over rice. I used 1/4 tsp of ground ginger as a substitute for grated ginger. I would add more than next time. Maybe a i/2 a tsp. I am sure we will accept it again.
01/05/2021
I fabricated this exactly as the recipes says only added a picayune asian republic of chile sauce on meridian. This recipe is and so easy and very succulent. Will definitely add to my recipe rotation.
03/02/2021
This is a really good recipe. Fifty-fifty my kids liked information technology. I added some chili garlic sauce at serving. It would probably be good to add some broccoli to the recipe or on the side.
03/10/2021
Had some lean basis beefiness I didn't know what to do with, so gave this recipe a try. I though it might end up kind of boring, simply I was quite wrong. Tons of season. I added chopped onion for the browning phase and it worked out well. Also added some mixed vegetables.
04/16/2021
This was an easy flavorful dish.
